The Parliamentary Candidate for NPP in the Jomoro constituency of the western region, Paul Essien has been arrested by western regional police command for duping GN Bank an amount of 34,000 Ghana Cedis.
Paul Essien was arrested at his hometown, thus Tikobo no. 1 this morning. After the arrest, Paul Essien pleaded not to put into police cell.
Upon this arrest, the general public is invited to Takoradi to confirm to the police if Paul Essien also owe them.
What led to his arrest was made known to the general public on a locally based radio station called New Day FM about two months ago.
