NPP MP Attack NDC Observers

Credible information reaching Tema Express and Ghanapoliticsonline.com confirms that the Member of Parliament for Tema Central Hon Kofi Brako yesterday landed a hefty slap in the face of an NDC Agent who was performing his legitimate duties at the registration center.

The MP got incensed when a minor who the NPP had pushed to the Registration Center was challenged by the NDC Agent. The MP who was visibly angry with the action of the NDC Agent stormed the center flanked by macho men yelling on top of his voice” where is that NDC Agent” and before the Agent could say jack the MP landed a hefty slap on his left cheek which got him dazed momentarily and this dastardly act happened in the full glare of the two police officers detailed to offer protection at the center.

As if that was not enough, the MP and his macho men entourage stormed other registration centers openly sharing money to registration officials and telling them not to go ahead and register people who are challenged by the NPP Agents.NPP MP Slaps NDC Observers

Tema Express finds the purported actions of the MP very troubling especially so when the law is clear on how a person can be challenged at a registration center. We further call on the police to be very neutral in the discharge of their duty at the Registration Centers.
