NPP defy heavy rains

Torrential rains Sunday morning has left large parts of Accra in terrifying floods.

Roads leading to the Trade Fair centre where the New Patriotic Party is launching its manifesto today got flooded.

The flooding was caused by a sustained rainfall which started early Sunday.

Thousands of the party’s supporters and officials are expected to attend the event.

The party’s manifesto launch comes on the heels of bitter accusation of alleged plagiarism of it manifesto by the National Democratic Congress and the All People’s Congress (APC).
