NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR COMMENTS ON THE DRAFT DIGITAL TERRESTRIAL TELEVISION (DTT) POLICY DOCUMENT

The Ministry of Communications wishes to invite comments from all stakeholders and the general public on the national digital terrestrial television (DTT) broadcasting Policy 2016 developed to guide Ghana’s migration from analogue television broadcasting to digital terrestrial television broadcasting.

The Ministry of Communications has begun the implementation of the National DTT platform and is to be completed by 31 October 2016. The draft policy proposes a simulcast of both analogue and digital broadcasting with a final “switch off” of analogue broadcasting on 21 September 2017.
