Northerners Don’t need A stooge Bawumia;  What did he do for Northeners as A Deputy Governor? Alhaji Mahmood Issahaku- Lawyer, Tamale

It is crystallly clear that, Third time Running mate to Akufo-Addo, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia has been commissioned by the Akyem cabal in the New Patriotic party to insult the President of Ghana, at any given opportunity. Whilst Bawumia has used derogatory words such as “incompetent, embarrassment, corrupt, etc” his second wife , a Fulani indigene Samira Bawumia has also served President Mahama with her own insidious “Mahama is a Useless President.”

Without much ado, let’s try and define who, among Bawumia and President Mahama, is competent. President Mahama, on his first attempt to be paired with then candidate Atta Mills who had failed woefully on two occasions (2000 & 2004), influenced positively the ticket of Atta mills and won the elections, resoundingly for Atta Mills in 2008. Whereas, Dr Bawumia is yet to realise what his influences has been on the ticket of Akufo-Addo since 2008, the best Bawumia has been able to impact on the ticket of Akufo-Addo is his “ability to deflate” Akufo-Addo’s 49.9% in 2008 first round to 49.7% in 2008 second round and then again to 47% in 2012. The unproductive propaganda machinery of Bawumia, in their shameless bid to not accept their ineffectiveness and woeful failures quickly resorted to falsely clad Bawumia as the singular individual who worked to see the shot in parliamentary seats from three to Ten regions; when in actual, the achievement of this feat was the cordinated efforts of His Excellency Alhaji Aliu Mahama and Now National Chairman of the NPP Paul Afoko who risked their lives crisscrossing the three Northern regions.

I can say on authority, after having witness some unexampled occassion such that, chairman Paul Afoko who Akufo-Addo has shown his bitter dislike for, singularly supported all 57 constituencies in the three Northern regions prior to the 2008 amd 2012 elections. I rember vividly and know for a fact about certain constituencies that received as much as 100,000 Ghana cedis ( 1 billion old cedis) from our brother Chairman Afoko. Not only this, “No go areas” or if you like “hostile areas against NPP” in the north were peacefully interrupted by Chairman Paul Afoko and Alhaji Aliu Mahama , all in their earnest desire to canvass votes for Akufo-Addo and the NPP.

Let Dr Mahamadu Bawumia, apart from recklessly allowing his stooge self to be used by the Kyebi Family of Akufo-Addo to insult his fellow brother from the North and a senior, what positives has he done to the North? Don’t tell me the vote buying and cheap “Provision of chairs to one school and the usage of the party’s money to build  one Toilet facility.”

Bawumia, apart from disgracing and embarrassing we the Northeners in his corrupt act as Deputy Governor, where he supervised the unaccountable redenomination of the cedi , and also couldn’t account for cost involve in such exercise; what positives has he done for we Northerners? We Northeners will not fall for those unrealistically phantom and primordial “one this; one that” promises from bawumia and his haughtily divisive Akufo-Addo. Let Bawumia stop embarassing our customs and start presenting his wife to the Public. Why would Bawumia avoid his wife from the Public? Isn’t this mocking, derisive and xenophobic against his first wife?
