There is no way CPP will lose 2016 election – Delle

The National Chairman of the Convention People’s Party (CPP) has expressed optimism in the party winning the November 2016 general elections.

Professor Edmund Delle said considering the manner the party’s 2016 flagbearer, Ivor Kobina Greenstreet appeals to delegates, Ghanaians will vote for him.

The CPP chairman was speaking at a ceremony held in Accra to mark the birthday celebration of Mr Greenstreet.

Touting some of the attributes of the CPP flagbearer, Professor Delle said “He [Greentsreet] is the young Nkrumah who has come.”

Since “Nkrumah never fails, Nkrumah never dies,” Greenstreet will never fail,
he said amidst cheers from the crowd.

The Dermatologist, however, noted the CPP will do everything within its capacity including campaigning in the nook and crannies of the country to ensure that it annexes the seat of government.

According to him, “We shall campaign in the streets, we shall campaign on top of the trees, we shall go to heavens and yell that the CPP is back.”

The CPP will “either going to be first or with the first at the end of the election,” he added.
