New UK High Commissioner meets UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce members

The new UK High Commissioner to Ghana Mr. Iain Walker has met with members of the UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce at his residence in Accra.

The meeting afforded the UK Ghana Chamber of Commerce to officially welcome the High Commissioner to Ghana.

Iain Walker was appointed February 2017 by Her Majesty the Queen of England to take over from Jon Benjamin who has been transferred to the British Home Office.

Mr. Iain Walker is married to Claire Walker with three Children.

The former Finance Director has worked with the PwC, Ernst & Young, Banking and Capital Markets.

Members of the U.K Ghana Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new high commissioner with their one year anniversary celebration.

Among the members of the Chamber who welcome the High Commission is Ghana’s tourism top promoter Abeiku Aggrey Santana, who is the Chief Executive of Kaya Tours.

The new UK Ambassador to Ghana is scheduled to meet the media community in Ghana in the coming weeks.
