New Opinion Polls From Eastern And Brong Ahafo -Ben Ephson

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is set to lose the Asuogyaman seat in the Eastern Region to the National Democratic Congress (NDC). The NDC’s candidate, a 38-year- old financial consultant, Mr. Ampem Nyarko, will hold sway over the NPP’s Kwame Adu Darkwa, a 38-year- old stock broker.

Akropong has always been a safe seat for the NPP and Ms. Dokua Adjei, a 34-year- old entrepreneur will continue that tradition. She will beat the NDC’s 29-year- old administrator, Yaw Appiah Kubi.

The incumbent NDC MP for Pru East in the Brong Ahafo Region, Kwabena Donkor, will retain his parliamentary status. The 58-year- old consultant will beat the NPP’s 64-year- old development worker, King Amoah. Interestingly, King Amoah contested as an independent parliamentary candidate in 2012 in the same constituency, placing second, with the then NPP candidate placing third.

Dr. Kwabena Twum-Nuamah, a 38-year- old medical officer will win the Berekum East seat for the NPP, beating the NDC’s Opoku Boakye Yiadom, 51.
