Nduom not Happy with Nana Addo

“The campaign was in 2016, 2017 is for doing, I don’t want to hear we are going to, I want to hear we’ve started and we’re doing.”

That’s the assessment of the 2016 flagbearer of the Progressive Peoples Party Papa Kwesi Nduom, who is demanding that government proceeds to implement its promises instead of repeating the rhetoric at any given opportunity.

Speaking in an interview on JoyFm, he noted there are certain steps the NPP has taken which are recommendable, but most of their campaign promises are yet to materialise.

“They have the whole four years to accomplish all their promises but we will give them up to a year and from there we can actually comment on their works so far.” he added

On appointments made by the NPP, Dr Nduom said the all inclusive government promise to the people of Ghana seems to be taking a different dimension with the President appointing party members to all government position, in what appears to be a reward to party loyalist.

He is of the view government needs varied ideas and inputs from all Ghanaians including people outside the NPP to to propel economic growth.
