NDC is winning the presidency–Asiedu Nketia tells supporters

General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia is entreating supporters of the party to be patient with the Electoral Commission in the declaration of results of the presidential race.

He insists the NDC’ John Dramani Mahama is in a comfortable lead in the presidential race basing his assertion on data collected from “three result collation systems” employed by the party.

General Mosquito, as he is affectionately called, condemned the NPP for what he described as violation of decisions taken by IPAC which allow the Electoral Commission to collate and declare results within 72 hours.

He is nonetheless hopeful the NDC will emerge victorious in the 2016 presidential election.

Mr Asiedu Nketia therefore called on party supporters to wait patiently for the EC to come out with the results of the polls before hitting the streets to jubilate.
