NDC regional chairmen beg John Mahama to lead party in 2020

All the ten Regional chairpersons of the National Democratic Congress have declared support for the agenda to present His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the 2020 general elections.

The regional chairpersons made their intention known to the the immediate past President of the country who was also the standard-bearer of the National Democratic Congress during the 2016 general elections in which the party suffered defeat at a meeting on Thursday 9th November, 2017.

The former President’s popularity has been soaring surprisingly for some time now owing to the backlash of the incompetence displayed by the ruling New Patriotic Party led by Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo.

Ghanaians have been living under serious economic hardship and violence without peace and stability in the country to the point that there has been a general outcry by the citizenry calling on His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to contest because they have regretted.

In an interview with Ghanapoliticsonline.com, some of the Chairpersons said the former President must heed to the teeming support from Party members and Ghanaians to contest the 2020 elections and save the country from the substandard NPP government
