THE NDC CHINA CHAPTER LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN FOR THE
NOVEMBER GENERAL ELECTIONS

As the November 7 general elections in Ghana inches closer, many political parties and their diasporian wings are stepping up activities in preparation towards the polls which many believe would be keenly contested.

It is in this regard that the NDC China chapter, on the 16th July,2016, successfully launched its campaign dubbed: Operation Spread The Good Messages Of JDM.

Given that the outcome of an election depends on what goes into a campaign, the China chapter of the ruling party in Ghana unvailled its campaign team to help put in place strategies and programmes that would enhance the electoral fortunes of the party ; analysing and targetting strategic members of the electorate, especially floating voters.

The event which was held in Changsha, a vibrant city in China, was massively attended by party faithful, sympathisers and well- wishers accross China.

The euphoria and the joy which greeted the event was evident among the enthusiastic crowd who were dressed in party colors, chantting party slogans.

The event also brought together dignitaries from the Ghana Embassy in Beijing ; these included the Ambassador to China , H.E Anani O.Demuyakor and his Deputy H.E Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah.

The campaign launch also offered the chapter the opportunity to unveil its website which could be accessed through www.ndcchinachapter.com.
It is a well designed website which allows members and non members the chance to comment and write posts.

In his speech, Ambassador Anani Demuyskor, admonished chapter members and executives to unite and work harder through sefless efforts, and that working for the growth and success of the NDC should be sacrificial and based on love for the party and not for material gains.

He was upbeat that through commitment , dedication and hard work , the NDC shall win and the benefits will in turn not only be to the advantage of the party faithful, but to the country at large.

He charged members to spread the achievements of the NDC government to their friends and love ones back home ,and encourage them to vote for the NDC on November 7, in order to make the Changing Lives and Transforming Ghana Agenda sustainable.

The Deputy Ambassador ,H.E Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah, on his part, challenged the chapter executives to create vibrant branches and make sure that they are fully functional.

He urged members to contribute their quota towards making the chapter one of the best .He further reminded members on the need to use the website judiciously and productively to propagate the image of the party and matchless achievements of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to Ghanaians and the rest of the world.

The chapter chairman, Mr.Daniel Onyame Tetteh , in his opening remarks, encouraged all members to come onboard so that the chapter’s planned and outlined activities for the year could be carried out without problem.

Mr.Tetteh , reminisced the formation of the chapter in China and told members that even though they started with a handful of members through hard work, it can now boast of many many members accross China.

He also used the occasion to thank his executives for their support and urged them to do more by moving down to Ghana to campaign in their respective towns and villages.

At long last ! The Deputy Ambassador, H.E Horace Nii Ayi Ankrah declared the campaigned launched .
