National Security operatives storm modernghana.com office; arrest Editor and seize laptops

Information reaching us indicates that Operatives of National Security have taken over the office of Ghana’s private media house ModernGhana.com over a story the media house published about National Security Minister, Albert Kan-Dapaah.

A close source who spoke to GhanaPoliticsOnline.com mentioned that the website published a story about the Minister after which his office called into Modenghana office and asked that they remove the story.

The source added that the website removed the story this morning at a time that heavily built men came into the office and introduced themselves as National security operatives and picked the editor on duty amidst seizing all the laptops that their staff were using to work.

Speaking in a phone interview with the editor in Chief at ModernGhana, William Nana beeko on the story, he confirmed that they have been looking for the whereabouts of the editor since morning and they can’t tell where he has been taken to.

All efforts to reach the editor Emmanuel Ajarfor who was arrested proved futile
