Nana Akufo-Addo: Where Is Your Sister Mamaa Akufo-Addo?

If we look through the history books and current unfolding political events, it’s easy to say that Ghana has produced just one politician, just one, who thinks that he is not accountable to anybody. In fact, this politician has the false notion that whatever he has done in the past and continues to do presently is none of the business of any Ghanaian. As a result, this man has never commented on any negative issue surrounding his personal and political life.

Talking about this arrogant politician quickly brings to mind Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, a politician running for the highest office in Ghana for the third time, on the ticket of the NPP. But this man does not bring any solid credentials to the presidential table except to quote him in his own words that, “He has fought for political tolerance for the past 40 years in Ghana”. A “tsobuo” politician? Akufo-Addo, therefore, thinks that the ‘tsobuoing” alone, which comes with just the shouting of slogans is enough to earn him the presidency of Ghana on a silver platter.

There have been serious “bloody’” undertakings that have happened under the watch of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, yet like the Teflon Don he has always walked freely each time without accounting for his misdeeds. Why would Akufo-Addo not feel that he’s above everybody else in Ghana since he’s is only known Ghanaian “lawyer” to have been called to the BAR ALONE on one cool evening in July 1975. Alone? Yes! Akufo-Addo was called to the Ghana Bar alone. Never in the history of Ghana has such a thing ever happened. But it did happen in Akufo-Addoland. He has no law school classmates. This incredible crooked feat was achieved by Akufo-Addo.

Nana Akufo-Addo has two sisters, Golda and Mamaa. Many Ghanaians knew Mamaa very well. She happens to be the younger sister of Nana Akufo-Addo. It is a well-known secret that Mamaa was not happy with the reckless way Akufo-Addo kept selling the family properties that were acquired by their late dad, to fund his mirage political ambition.

Mamaa’s abhorrence towards the reckless disposal and use of the family properties, led to an open confrontation between her and Nana Akufo-Addo. Mamaa has since vanished! To date no one except Nana Akufo-Addo knows the whereabouts of Mamaa. There are wild rumours making rounds that Mamaa has been “eliminated” and that Nana Akufo-Addo is behind this gruesome act. I am not making up this story. It is the truth and Nana Akufo-Addo is the only person to confirm or deny this story.

For well over nine years, no one knows the whereabouts of Mamaa. It is only Akufo-Addo who knows what may have happened to her sister! I am giving Owusu Bempah an assignment to pray hard and come and tell Ghanaians where Mamaa Akufo-Addo is today. Owusu Bempah, please find Mamaa Akufo-Addo!

Nana Akufo-Addo is noted for his violent nature. Akufo-Addo who in his Legon campus days impregnated one Virginia Hersey and denied responsibility leading to the expulsion of the lady, knocked down and killed an elderly person on his way from the Legon campus one day, during the time his dad was the Ceremonial President of Ghana. Akufo-Addo simply got away with this murder after he even refused to stop after knocking down the pedestrian.

His first marriage to a Nigerian woman, Remi, did not end on a positive note as severe beatings and maltreatment by Akufo-Addo compelled the family of Remi to whisk her away to Nigeria.

Akufo-Addo later got married to Ellen Nkansah Gyamera, but his tendency to use women as punching bags was in full glare as Ellen died under mysterious circumstances following severe beatings by Nana Addo one day. This incident happened at around 4pm on August 17, 1993, when after an argument between Akufo-Addo and Ellen, Nana is alleged to have exploded and loaded it on Ellen who eventually collapsed and could not be revived.

Prior to that, a messenger at Akufo-Addo’s law firm office also died under strange circumstances and the Teflon Don somehow managed to cover his tracks without any investigations by the police.

Today Akufo-Addo just like his Republican counterpart in the US is married to his third wife and has been able to keep the lid on all the stinking scandals surrounding him. This is the man, who is falsely using the Name of God to claim that he has been ordained to win the upcoming election.

Akufo-Addo is no saint. And if indeed Mamaa is dead, her soul like the others who died under strange circumstances under the hands of Akufo-Addo will never rest in peace. Akufo-Addo sounds buoyant when he sees people, but he is definitely not a happy man, but someone with so much blood on his hands.

I am putting it to Nana Akufo-Addo to tell Ghanaians where Mamaa is. We are very interested to know the whereabouts of Mamaa before we go to the polls on Wednesday December 7. Nana, where is Mamaa? What did you do with her? Others and I would like to know.
