Nana Addo Will Face Consequences If He Continues To Sideline Ashantis – NPP Communicator(Audio)

Some members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region are threatening of serious consequences if the President continues, what they believe is a, deliberate attempt to sideline people from the region.

To some communicators in the ‘World Bank’ of the NPP, it is unbelievable that after describing the region as the “head and heart” of the party, President Nana Akufo Addo does not see anyone fit enough to work in his government.

Speaking to the Kumasi-based Ash FM, Raphel Sarfo, a popular communicator of the party could not hide his frustration and therefore made it clear that Nana Addo would face severe consequences should he continue on the tangel he is treading.

“…the people in the Ashanti Region are as good those in the Central and Brong |Ahafo Regions. we will continue to agitate for some of the goodies to come into the region for the benefit of our relatives and also for the development of the Ashanti Region”.

“What has Sir John, the man from Onoo not done for the NPP but have heard his name has been withdrawn and they expect us living in this Region to be quiet about it. As we speak, there none Ashanti in the Flagstaff House. Until when would we keep mute if there is no representation at from the stronghold of the party in the Flagstaff House?”

The obviously furious communicator further disclosed that Dr. Amoako Tuffour who is a leading member of the party in the region was tipped to work at the seat of government but was later dropped and that also is seriously fueling the perception that Nana Addo is pursuing and anti-Ashanti agenda.

“We learnt that our father Dr. Amoako Tuffour was pinpointed to go to Flagstaff House so he can represent the Northern sector of Ashanti and Brong Ahafo Regions but what happened to that position? and now, we hear Sir John has also been denied but we will not sit quietly on this”.

“We will never allow. 2020 begins today…we are starting the 2020 elections today and Nana Addo must be mindful of the fact that the positioning of the grass-root party people would be critical to our chances”

This comes only a month after Nana Addo Darkwa Akufo-Addo took office as the Fifth President of the Fourth Republic of Ghana.
