Nana Addo is useless – Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has lambasted President Akufo-Addo.

He has described him as ‘’uselessly incompetent’’ with no clue to manage the country.

The soul of Ghana is wailing because the country has been defiled under the watch of President Nana Akufo-Addo, he added.

The killings, lynching, mob action and other criminal activities have increased under the president yet we cannot see him [Nana Addo]. The president he suggested is having fun whereas citizens are wailing. ‘’Since we handed over the mandate to President Akufo-Addo, the soul of Ghana has been wailing.

What is happening to this country? The soul of the country is wailing because it has been defiled. The killings have increased. It is only under the watch of Akufo-Addo that we have witnessed evil forces, suicide and lynching have become the order of the day in Ghana.

We are witnessing blood spillage but in all these things, where is our president? Where is the president? He is racketing across the world when Ghanaians are wailing.’’ He quizzed, ‘’is this what we voted for? When Ghanaians mourned the late Major Mahama, he abandoned the state burial and travelled abroad. Is this what we voted for? Nana Addo is only interested in luxurious spending on birthday parties, hotels with his friends and family but do not have Ghanaians at heart.’’

In the view of the fierce critic of Nana Addo, Ghanaians are no longer safe due to the lawlessness and impunity under the NPP and considering the recent killings of security persons, citizens are no longer safe. ‘’What President Akufo-Addo is doing; he has travelled more than former president Kufour’s two year travels. This is because we are having a uselessly incompetent president managing our affairs.’’

Mr. Anyidoho speaking in an interview with Kwame Tutu threw more salvos stating that, under Akufo-Addo, we are witnessing the politicization of our health sector and appointments coupled with lawlessness and attacks on civil servants. The president he stressed has sunk low this country by his incompetent action as president.
