Nana Addo should resign & go somewhere for retirement if he’s incapable-Anyidoho

Deputy General Secretary of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has called on President Akufo-Addo to resign from his presidential duties if he feels exhausted and incapable.

He is also calling on him to cancel his regional tours and come and respond to the shame and face the corruption hitting his government.

‘’What kind of regional tour is he embarking on? Why is he embarking on a tour to cut sod on projects former President Mahama cut sod for? The shame is unprecedented. He should come back to Accra and face the consequences which is facing his government.

’’ He was reacting to the sacking of some CEOs of some state institutions which he noted is a diversionary tactics being employed to prevent Ghanaians from discussing the Anas expose. ‘’President Akufo-Addo was the first person who had the privilege to watch the video. He later referred the case to the CID for investigation. So why is he running away from the video? ‘’The humiliation is one too many. The disgrace, the ignominy is too much. President Akufo-Addo should drop the work if he is incapable. If he [Nana Addo] cannot do the work, he should just drop it and go and sit somewhere in retirement.’’ He made reference to the clearing of the BOST CEO and wondered why he [Alfred Obeng] has been sacked today adding, ‘’you cannot divert our attention from sacking four CEOs. Who are you deceiving? We will not stop discussing the Anas video. He [Nana Addo] should stop attempting to pull a veil over the corruption and the scandals hitting his government on daily basis.’’ Commenting on the the ‘Number 12’ video, Koku Anyidoho said it is ‘’a scandal of an unprecedented proportion happening under Akufo-Addo. The humiliation and shame is going for Nana Akufo-Addo. To the extent that the names of Akufo-Addo and Bawumia are mentioned makes the case more damming. It is disgraceful and shameful for Ghana. Today we have something we call the Nyantakyi formula 5:3:2:1. 5 million for the president, 3 million for the vice president; 2 million for the deputy chief of staff and other appointees and 1 million for Nyanatakyi is shameful. He [Nana Addo] called on Ghanaians to try him and see. We have tried him and this is the result for trying him,’’ he concluded.
