NAGRAT threatens nationwide strike over unpaid allowance

The National Association of Graduate Teachers, NAGRAT, says it will embark on a nationwide strike on Wednesday if the government refuses to heed to its demands.

Some of its demands are payment of annual incremental credits and the renegotiation of the collective agreement.

At a media briefing in Accra, the Greater Accra Regional chairman of the Association, Rene Kwamikorkor said the demands are nothing new.

The association is just reminding government of the mandate of its delegates conference a few weeks ago at Bolgatanga.
