MTTD records increase in road accidents

Statistics from the Motor Traffic and Transport Department of the Ghana Police Service have revealed that there has been a slight increase in the number of accident cases recorded in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year.

The P.R.O. of the Department, Chief Inspector Simon Tenku, said major cause of these accidents is indiscipline on the part of both drivers and pedestrians.
