MPs’ Express Mixed Expectations On President Mahama’s Final State Of The Nation Address

As Ghanaians prepare to hear the last State of the Nation Address by President John Mahama, some Members of Parliament, (MPs’) have been sharing with Radio Ghana, what they anticipate.

They believe the President will tout his acheivements and call for national cohesion.

The MP for Okai kwei North, Mrs. Elizabeth Sackey says the President will have to give the real picture on the ground.

MP for Okai Kwei North, Mrs. Elizabeth Sackey. David Oppon-Kusi, MP for Ofoase Ayirebi expects a reconciliatory message though a short one.

MP for Pru East and former Minister for Power, Dr. Kwabena Donkor also spoke to Radio Ghana.

For Dr. Donkor, President Mahama will cease the opportunity to apologise to Ghanaians.

He said President Mahama’s address will be sobering.

The MP for Wa central, Dr. Abdul-Rashid Pelpuo said President Mahama will give a proper account to the people and give the incoming government the way forward.
