Movement for Mahama confirms support for NDC Election campaign

Movement for Mahama (MFM) has announced a series of activities to support and compliment the 2016 Elections manifesto launch by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Cape Coast.

The MFM which brought together a number of personalities from different backgrounds during the 2012 elections campaign, is promising exciting, innovative and engaging activities targeted more towards newly registered voters, students, working adults and floating voters.

According to Robert Owusu Manfred of MFM, the group has been quietly preparing over a period of time and is ready to unleash a range of campaign promotion strategies to compliment President Mahama and the NDC retain office.

“We have learnt many valuable lessons since 2012 and I believe our input would be even greater this time around. As long as we receive the blessings of the party hierarchy and follow the rules laid out to ensure victory for JM and the NDC, there would be no turning back”.

Speaking to GhanaPoliticsOnline.Com, Mr Owusu denied that the MFM leadership has been idle and is lacking influence on the ground. ” The reality is that most of us are qualified professionals and immediately after the 2012 campaign, we returned to our jobs”. The group which took the political landscape by storm during the 2012 elections will be in Cape Coast on the 13th and 14th of August. MFM has also pledged to introduce concepts and strategies to help raise funds to support the party’s campaign. The Movement will unveil one of their innovative campaign strategies at the official launch of the NDC’s 2016 election campaign.

Movement for Mahama which boasts over 630,000 followers on various social media platforms is now live on instagram: (@movement4Mahama) and Facebook (Movement for Mahama). Mr Owusu Manfred said the Movement would release the first of their new campaign” gadgets” in Cape Coast.
