Montie 3 are more popular than Akufo Addo- Joseph Yamin

Mr. Jospeh Yamin is of the view that the Montie 3 are enjoying more popularity after the Supreme Court’s four months jail term pronouncement.

Former Deputy regional minister for Ashanti Region Joseph Yamin has stated emphatically that the Montie trio who are currently serving a four-month jail term in prison after threatening to kill supreme court judges have gained massive recognition more than the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party NPP Nana Addo Dankwah.

He believes the trio has enjoyed enough attention from Ghanaians across the country to the extent that some astute political figures have signed a petition pleading on his Excellency John Dramani Mahama to pardon them.

This according to Yamin has made the trio more famous than Nana Addo.

He also stressed that the NPP’s flag bearer is a major problem to Ghana same as his party.

Speaking on Abusua Nkomo to host Julius Caesar who sat in for usual host Kwame Adinkrah, the deputy national coordinator of the Natural disaster management organization NADMO said, the prisoners presently are more popular than the NPP’s leader.

”The prisoners would have even wished that the Montie 3 were released, looking at the number of visits they get is even more than their strength, you see personalities, people with names like the NDC general secretary, party chairman, ministers and influential people and will also visit them” He emphasized.

‘’Seriously now the Montie 3 currently are more popular than Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo particularly Mugabe’’, should context Akufo Addo in any elections he will beat him”.

He however asserted that though his party members have visited the trio, he will personally pay them a visit before their four months jail term come to an end.
