Miss Sanni Providential Sadiyat on Saturday was crowned Miss Tourism Ghana 2017

Providential is a 21 year old student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, Ho.
A second year undergraduate students pursing a degree in Midwifery.

The event which was held at the National Theater saw twelve beautiful contestants battle for the ultimate prize.
The other winners were Dorothy Ndede as Queen, and Miss Violet Christabel Lawson as 1st Princess.

The competition started with the contestants engaging in in-house activities such as regional cooking competition, book presentations, swim wear competition, fashion show, cultural night and many more where Miss Providential won five (5) outstanding Awards: Miss Cat Walk (Best Model), Miss Entrepreneur, Miss Best Regional Presentation, Miss Best Specific Tourist site Presentation, and MISS TOURISM GH 2017 2nd Princess.

“I have always wanted to help brilliant but needy students in less privileged communities by advocating for ‘education for all’, and to also promote the culture and creative arts industry in the Volta Region and beyond. So I decided take part in this year’s Miss Tourism Ghana 2017 pageantry so I can be able to execute my dream project.” She said.

The prizes for Providential include a trip to some parts of the globe, will represent Ghana at the Miss Culture World, would be clothed by DaViva and a lot of sponsors packages.
She stated that her friends were very supportive as they helped gained more votes and sold all her tickets as well.

She further expressed her heartfelt appreciation to the organizers of Miss Tourism Ghana, the people of Agortime Traditional Area, students of the University of Health and Allied Sciences, her family and everyone who voted for her not forgetting Mr. Divine Kporha, the Volta Regional NUGS President for his unflinching support for her in the area of cultural presentations.
Conclusively, this happens to be the fourth time she has won the Pageantry show award. The previous ones include; Miss Kente 2015, Face of UHAS- 1st Runner Up and recently Face of NAHSAG (National Health Students Association of Ghana).
