Over a million Ghanaians benefitted from social protection program- Oye Lithur

Minister of Gender, Children and Social Protection, Nana Oye Lithur says more than one million Ghanaians have benefited under the ministry’s social protection program.

They include LEAP, School Feeding and free registration of prisoners, the vulnerable in society onto national health insurance scheme among others.

This she said many people have been lifted out of poverty and an equal number can now have access to quality health care.

Nana Oye Lithur said this when she addressed students of the Nalerigu Nursing and Midwifery College and the Gambaga College of Education in Nalerigu.

Mrs. Oye Lithur rallied the students to vote for President Mahama and the parliamentary candidate Alhaji Seidu Baba.
