HIS MASK IS OFF: AKUFO-ADDO IS CORRUPT, NEPOTIST,LACKS INTEGRITY

During his campaign for the presidency and since taking office ten months ago, President Akufo-Addo has reiterated his resolve to weed out corruption from our society and also protect the public purse as pillars of his administration. But ten months in office, Nana’s anti corruption crusade is like Satan calling Judas Iscariot a ‘Sinner’.

Where is the integrity in a man who courageously shields cabals in his administration accused of looting billions of cedis through sale of contaminated fuel, collecting bribes before granting permission to visitors to meet the President, issuing bond without following laid down procedure etc etc.. How do you claim integrity fort such ruler who after his own party’s financier and his best friend (A-plus) complain about corruption in his government and misappropriation of funds by his appointees, only forces a gag to save personal face. Is dealing with corruption in his government and protecting the future of Ghanaians more important Nana Addo or is protecting his government and saving his name and his cabal cronies his top priority?. There is this popular saying “show me your friend and I will show you who you are” How do you extract President Akufo-Addo and Dr Bawumia from the $2.5million digital address system fraud. Akufo-Addo is making new billionaires (family members) and feeding the established cabal billions of dollars through contracts and fishy deals.

What can we say of a president who goes all out to protect a cousin who issued a $2.25 billion bond with his wife and close associates. And where is Hon. Adwoa Safo and what has happened to her rhetorics and lectures on procurement? Was she and her bosses aware that apart from the digital address system existing already (goggle map), Zoomlion had started developing same system without taking a pesewa from the state,? Can she deny the presence of fraud in the award of the $2.5 million contract by the government of President Akuffo Addo? How do you regard a president who supports attacks on judges and sponsor hoodlums who attack police officers and judges at their duty joints. Few months after his inauguration, we all recognised how nepotic and factional Nana was. He offered all the top positions in his government to his cousins, their wives and appointed his daughter into his government. The “incorruptible mask” is off Ghanaians including some of his own party members have seen who Nana is and what he really represents. Nana Akufo-Addo and his vice Dr Bawmumia are no men of integrity, they are no men who detest corruption. But like the Bible said, some come to steal, kill and destroy and some come to give life. Even fanatics in his party are beginning to determine what this government has come to give. Nana’s mask is off and Bawumia’s sheep’s skin has fallen.

And some people think we must sweet the ongoing corruption, award of contract to cronies, suspension of developmental projects, wasting of billions of cedis on launching of programmes and logos, establishment of family empire, and discuss the fake Kwesi Botchway report?
