Mahama’s mantra reflects his good works – Kofi Adams

The National Organiser of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr Kofi Adams, has said President John Dramani Mahama is a focused leader who can boldly use the mantra E dey be k?k? because he is working to the satisfaction of Ghanaians and delivering the mandate of the people.

According to Mr Adams, the President’s unprecedented record of achievements in the country can afford him the right to use the mantra.

The 2016 Flag Bearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has criticised President John Mahama for what, according to him, is the lack of meaningful message in the governing NDC’s 2016 campaign.

Addressing a gathering at the Asesewa Market in the Upper Manya Constituency of the Eastern Region, Nana Akufo-Addo said he would not join the fray to put out a meaningless message like e dey be k?k?.

“Our message is about bringing jobs to the people of Ghana, reviving our economy, improving our agriculture, diversifying our agriculture, that is the business we are coming to do,” said the NPP’s 2016 presidential candidate last Friday, July 1.

But Mr Adams, on Okay FM’s Morning Show, pooh-poohed the critics of Nana Akufo-Addo, saying he (Nana Akufo-Addo) cannot use e dey be k?k? because he had not done anything, even in his constituency, worthy of mentioning.http://ghanapoliticsonline.com/

“Nana Akufo-Addo cannot shout e dey be k?k? because he did not do anything when he was serving as MP and a Cabinet minister, but President Mahama has done unprecedented work for Ghanaians . . . Mahama can go to Abuakwa in the Eastern Region to shout e dey be k?k? because he has provided water for the people over there; he can boldly shout the mantra,’ he stated.

Mr Adams pointed out that President Mahama could boast of road constructions, infrastructure, water projects, Komenda Sugar Factory, Kumasi Shoe Factory and other numerous social interventions.

He also said the NDC was creating jobs for the people through the numerous construction works throughout the country.

“If you are doing all these for the people then you can say justifiably that e dey be k?k?. President Mahama is focused on the job and that is why everywhere he goes, he receives genuine support from the people,” he stated.
