President John Dramani Mahama has commended Ghanaian media practitioners for the wonderful work they have been doing all these years.
Presenting the State of the Nation Address to Parliament on Thursday, the President said “Mr. Speaker let me salute the media for the good work they have been doing” in communicating the messages of politicians to the electorates.
In as much as he saluted the media for the good work they are doing, President Mahama also advised that they should avoid insults in their work as the November 7 general election approaches.
He further urged them to be circumspect in all their dealings and tell the Ghanaian public the bare facts in order to aid them to make their best choices in the elections.
