Mahama marks 3rd anniversary on rice farm

President John Dramani Mahama spent his third anniversary in office on a rice farm in Asutsuare in the Eastern Region.

President Mahama began serving his mandatory four-year term on January 7, 2013 after winning the 2012 elections – though he had completed the four-year term of his late predecessor Professor John Evans Atta Mills.

On Thursday, January 7, President Mahama joined rice farmers in Asutsuare in the company of some government officials to mark his third year in office.

The president will seek a renewal of his mandate later this year.
