Central Regional Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard is appealing to Ghanaians to disregard the ‘ugly noises’ of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) seeking to discredit President John Mahama.
According to him, just like Ghana’s first president, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, all the President is seeking to do is to take Ghanaians to the promise land.
His comments come after the Central Regional branch of the NPP accused the Mahama-led government of throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians in the name of Accounting to the Peoples tour.
The NPP Regional Secretary, Kwamena Duncan stated among other things that, the supposed developmental projects being undertaken by government in the Central region is all a mirage.
But Allotey Jacobs on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen programme Monday called the bluff of the NPP.

He noted that, no amount of vile propaganda against President Mahama will change the minds of the people in the Central region whom hitherto have not seen such unprecedented projects in the region.
Citing the Cape Coat stadium and the Komenda sugar factory to buttress his point, the Central regional chairman said it is just a tip of the iceberg.
Allotey Jacobs stated that, like the bible story of John Baptist, who cleared the way for Jesus Christ, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah led a united Ghana and it is now time for President John Mahama to carry on the baton handled to him to fulfill the prophecy of Ghana.
“We are seeing a reincarnated Kwame Nkrumah in President Mahama; he has Ghana at heart so the NPP can go and burn the sea” he scoffed.
The NDC man stressed that, the future ahead is full of promise under President John Mahama as prophesized by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.
Allotey Jacobs urged all Ghanaians to disregard a desperate NPP and vote massively for the NDC in the November 7 elections.
