Mahama destroying NPP ideas -Nana Addo

New Patriotic Party (NPP) 2016 flagbearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has described Ghana’s President, John Dramani Mahama as a person lacking original ideas.

The twice defeated Presidential candidate speaking on Accra-based Atinka FM said his criticism of the sitting President stems from the fact that ‘he has only been taking the ideas and policies thought out by the NPP and implementing them’.

And because President Mahama ‘copies’ the ideas of NPP, Nana Addo said he has failed to implement them to the satisfaction of Ghanaians and the original owners, NPP.

“Look at what has happened to the SADA, they have badly implemented them…the free education has now turned into progressive free SHS policy…,” he said.

This attitude of the President, Nana Addo said has led to the NPP restraining itself from further making public some of its policies and ‘we would only implement them when we assume the reins of power.’

“I am appealing to the President not to touch known policies which the NPP wants to implement because he destroys whatever policy he hears the NPP wants to implement…,” .

The current tour of the President in the Western Region, Nana Addo said is also modeled on his ‘Rise and Build’ tour.

All these buttress his claim that the NDC is a party without original ideas to move Ghana forward.

He argues that it is better for Ghanaians to give the mantle of leadership to the NPP who “are known to be great thinkers and have a clear vision” for the country.
