Lordina my love”: Mahama wishes wife happy birthday with a sweet tweet

Former President John Mahama wished his wife Lordina a happy birthday on Monday with a touching tweet to mark the former first lady’s turning 53 years of age.
“It’s your birthday on Ghana’s 60th. More years and more strength, Lordina my love,” the ex-president tweeted from his official twitter handle.
“Adorable, Vherished, My Lordina,” he added.

The tweet was attached to an image of the couple standing side by side with Lordina whispering something to the former president.

The picture was taken during the swearing in ceremony of President Nana Akufo-Addo.
The Mahamas left office on January 7 after he was defeated at the polls by Mr Akufo-Addo.
Since then, Mr Mahama has taken up a number of speech engagemets.

He recently delivered a speech in Kenya and is schedule to deliver one on March 31 at Harvard University in the USA.

Lordina jumped to the defence of her husband when he was under siege for attempting to keep a state bungalow.

In a twitter post, the former first lady described her husband as a “man of integrity and principle.”
“This too shall pass.Their efforts shall fall flat because you are a man of integrity & principle. They shall be put to shame by #MahamaLegacy,” she tweeted.
