Lordina Foundation donates to Asamankese Government Hospital

The Lordina Foundation has extended its charity work to the Asamankese Government Hospital in the Eastern Region.

The Foundation presented medical equipment, including hospital beds, mattresses, wheelchairs, breathing circuits and consumables to the hospital.

Presenting the items, the First Lady, Mrs Lordina Mahama, gave the assurance that the foundation would continue to support vulnerable communities, especially women and children across the country.

She said it was her conviction that health personnel should be provided with logistics, equipment and medical supplies to enhance their capability of fulfilling their obligations to their patients.
She indicated that the medical supplies were aimed at enhancing the efforts of the government to attain universal health provision for Ghanaians and urged the health workers to lead the way in the delivery of quality and safe health services in the country.
She called on all stakeholders to advocate and work, to ensure that investments make in the health of the people, particularly the younger ones were sustained.

Additionally, the Lordina Foundation has been empowering women in skills development and education.
Starts up kits have been given to people across the country to start businesses while schools have benefitted from donation of educational materials and clothing.
The Lordina Foundation has facilitated the construction of ICT centres, Dining halls among others.
