Laboratory Staff Of Tamale Teaching Hospital Suspend Strike

Staff of the Tamale Teaching Hospital Laboratory have put on hold their intended strike pending the outcome of a meeting between them and management Tuesday.

Reports say authorities of the hospital intended to privatise the hospital’s laboratory but the staff have kicked against it hence the intended strike Monday.

But a memo signed by the acting Director of Medical Affairs at the hospital, Dr Abass Adam appealed to the laboratory staff and other Professional bodies at the facility to reconsider their intended strike until after the meeting Tuesday.
