Kwesi Appiah to return as Black Stars coach?

Former Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah ranks high among trainers the Ghana Football Association (GFA) is considering to replace current coach Avram Grant.

The Israeli has failed to record a win in his last five leading to calls for his sacking.

According to ghanasoccernet, Coach Appiah who is now in charge of Al Khartoum and was recently named the best coach in Sudan has emerged as one of favourites as Grant’s future hangs by a thread.

Kwesi Appiah, who left the job two years ago, led the Black Stars to the last four of the Africa Cup of Nations and remains the only indigenous coach to have qualified the team for the World Cup though his team suffered frustrations disagreements in camp leading to a dismal performance in Brazil.
