Kwabena Agyepong withdraws from Afoko’s suit against NPP

The Human Rights Court has expunged the witness statement of the suspended General Secretary of the NPP Kwabena Agyepong from the records of the suit challenging the suspension of Paul Afoko.

Mr Agyepong was expected to testify in the suit filed by Mr Afoko but he has indicated to the court that he will not be available to give his evidence.

Counsel for Mr Afoko, Osafo Buabeng made this known to the court which subsequently removed the witness statement of the suspended General Secretary.

In view of this development, Mr Afoko told the court that he had no other witness and therefore closed his case.

The case has been adjourned to the 24th of this month where the NPP will begin with it’s evidence at the court.
