KWABENA AGYAPONG IS JUDAS IN NPP – LAWYER

A Private Legal Practitioner Kwame Adofo has accused the suspended General Secretary of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) describing him as the Judas of the party.
According to him, Kwabena Agyapong betrayed the party by selling informations to his pay masters in other political parties.

Reacting to calls by some supporters of the NPP calling on the Executives of the party to reinstate suspended Kwabena Agyapong, he said Mr. Agyapong deserves to remain suspended to serve as deterrent to others.

Mr. Agyapong, alongside other national officers of the NPP, were suspended indefinitely following a petition brought forth by some members of the party.

The petitioners accused him and the second vice chairman, Sammy Crabbe of undermining the party’s authority.

They also accused the two former national officers of publicly denouncing the suspension of former national chairman, Paul Afoko.

Subsequently the decision by the disciplinary committee of the party to suspend the General Secretary was upheld by the National Executive Committee (NEC).

Mr. Agyapong has since seized to act as General Secretary of the NPP.

But Lawyer Adofo speaking on Kumasi-based Ultimate FM said Mr. Agyapong cannot be trusted anymore.

He suggested to him to rescind his decision of joining the NPP advising him to by form an alliance with the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
“Kwabena Agyapong is a Judas of NPP, no way should he be reinstated…after Judas regretted what he did, he threw the money away and hanged himself. Kwabena Agyapong has committed a political suicide, he’s finished as far as the NPP is concerned, he’s better of joining the NDC if he is to have any future. But as far as NPP is concerned, he is finished, how can you trust somebody who compromised you when NPP was in opposition, and now that the party is in power.

“What else can’t he do, when he is going to sit in cabinet, are you going to trust that he will not leak information to former President John Dramani Mahama and his brother, Ibrahim Mahama, that is a disaster, its serious. I am telling you now, he’s the Judas of NPP, put me on record, the moment you bring him back, your party is finished,” Lawyer Adofo said.
