Kumawood Actor Quappiah Turns Musician -Releases Banging Single

Kumawood actor, Emmanuel Kwame Appiah, popularly known as Quappiah, has released a single titled ‘Teacher Tenten’ – which literally means a tall teacher.

The actor who has been in the movie industry for over 7 years, disclosed that he started his showbiz career on TV3’s flagship show ‘Music Music’ so he’s well informed and knows much about music – opposed to the general opinion held by a section of industry players that he is a novice when it comes to music.

He explained that because of his love for music years back, he always attends the ‘Music Music’ show and entertained the fans anytime the show went on a commercial break – until it got to a time the producer of the show decided to bring his off air comic segment on air.

“After so many months of my part being shown on air, the then producer of the show, Paa Kwesi Ackom, linked me up to a Kumawood producer Joseph Mensah. That’s how I stared my movie career” he said.

Quappiah has starred in almost 30 commercially released movies. Currently, the actor has out-doored his single titled ‘Teacher Tenten’ with a quality video which started airing on air this month.
