Kumasi Traditional Council Calls For Removal Of KMA Chief Executive, Kojo Bonsu

The Kumasi Traditional Council has called for the removal of the KMA Chief Executive, Kojo Bonsu.

The Council will now formally inform the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu about the decision.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the Council at the Manhyia Palace Monday afternoon.

A spokesman told our correspondent that the meeting, chaired by the Asafohene and attended by chiefs constituting the Kumasi Traditional Council preferred a myriad of charges against the KMA Chief Executive including an alleged show of gross disrespect towards the traditional leadership of Kumasi.

The Ashanti Regional Minister, John Alexander Ackon, attended the meeting and apologised on behalf of the KMA Chief Executive who was not present but his appeal was taken.
