Kpando Endorses Deputy Minister of Gender For Parliament

Several people from Kpando areas, have overtly endorsed the incumbent Member of Parliament for Kpando, Hon. Dela Sowah, who is also the Deputy Minister of Gender. Children and Social Protection.

The Member of Parliament who picked her forms last week Friday and submitted after filling, received massive endorsement from top personalities including some constituency executives.Addressing over 2000 party members after she submitted her forms, Hon. Dela Sowah said that she was hardly known by the people of Kpando when she presented herself in 2012, but after she unfurled her policies, plans, and vision, the electorates believed in her and voted massively for her in 2012.

She continued that when they voted for her, she promised them that, she will be a Member of Parliament that everyone can approach and talk to – and that her doors will always be open to everyone who need any societal assistance.

“I also promised them that I will work together with them to move the constituency forward and now they can all testify that it’s true – that’s how I have been with them so I’m thanking them for their support” she hinted.

According to Dela Sowah, in 2012, only 64% of eligible voters voted in Kpando and her target now is to step up her game by considering the hard work she has done for the people.

“I don’t feel pressured about all the names coming up to contest me. I like competition and I welcome all of them to fully come forward” the ever audacious Dela Sowah posited.

Some members who were happy and singing songs of praises revealed to Ghanapoliticsonline.Com that,

“We all remember the problems in the Ministry of Gender before the President appointed and replaced her with the former Minister, but when she got there, we haven’t heard any problem or any issue about her.

Another continued: She has done a lot for the youth and for the women in the constituency as well so we see the need to rally behind her and give her the support she needs.
