Kofi Jumah In Dirty Plot Against John Mahama

Maxwell Kofi Jumah, a former Deputy Minister of State and a leading member of the NPP in the Ashanti Region has decided to drive a wedge between Former President John Mahama and Ashantis.

On an NPP whatsapp page, he has carefully crafted a false statement which is to be attributed to the Former President as part of the comments he made when he addressed NDC supporters at Tarkwa last weekend after the NDC Unity Walk in the gold mining town. The words crafted and attributed to the Former President reads;

BREAKING NEWS
IN MY NEXT GOVERNMENT, I WON’T WASTE TIME ON ASHANTI REGION. THEY ARE DISHONEST AND UNGRATEFUL PEOPLE WHO HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW APART FROM THEIR KING. ALL THEY KNOW IS ILLEGAL MINING GALAMSEY.

This newspaper has intercepted a screenshot of this message on the NPP whattsap platform posted there by Kofi Jumah and is soon to be circulated on social media platforms.
With Former President Mahama’s popularity soaring over the past months since he handed over power and as the Akufo-Addo led government continues to show incompetence in the management of affairs of the state, some NPP activists are exploring ways to smear him especially as previous smear campaigns waged against him since he left office have proved to be fruitless.
