Kofi Adams Explains Why NDC Wont Launch Manifesto At Campaign Launch

The National Organizer of the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kofi Adams, has cleared the air on why the party would be launching its official campaign without the launch of the party’s manifesto – which is a very important tool to be used during the campaign.

Speaking on Accra Fm,monitored by Ghanapoliticsonline.com, the National Organizer who doubles as National Coordinator said that it has always been the tradition and style of the party. “It has always been our style. We always launch the campaign before we launch the manifesto” he argued out.

Mr. Adams backed his claim with historical facts. “In 2004 we launched our campaign at Cape Coast – victoria Park, and launched the manifesto at Prempeh Assembly Hall in Kumasi. In 2008, we launched campaign before we launched manifesto at Trade Fair. In 2012, we launched campaign at Jubilee Park at Kumasi and subsequently launched our manifesto at Ho” he educated.

Explaining why the party always launches the campaign before the manifesto he said it’s the responsibility of the campaign team to help in the conclusion of the manifesto processes.

Again, he added that the team has finished with the conclusion process and that the manifesto is in its printing process – which official date and venue for its launch would be announced after the official campaign launch.
