Ken Agyapong is a Deep- rooted Paid agent of the NDC planted to destroy the NPP”- Mc Manu fires back

A former National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Peter Mc Manu has in a sharp riposte, called the member of parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, a liar and a “long-standing paid agent of the ruling NDC government” to foment troubles within the NPP.

Yesterday on Kencity media, Oman Fm’s Boiling Point, the Assin Central Legislator tongue-lashed Mc Manu over claims that, there was an increasing number of complaints leveled against the officer of the party’s 2016 campaign manager. Ken Agyapong warned that he was going to “beat and slap the hell out of Mc Manu” should the party lose the December polls.

According to the hothead Ken Agyapong who doubles as a close confidant of the NPP’S 2016 flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo, “Akufo-Addo, I am telling you this today, nobody doesn’t want you to be president, however, those around you are the ones who are working against you. Most of the NPP leaders that are closer to Nana Addo are not loyal, they are the ones who have been selling information [from the camp of the NPP] to the NDC, yet they shamelessly come claiming that the ideas in their manifesto have been stolen,”…
When our news reporter contacted Peter Mc Manu, he revealed that Ken Agyapong has been a “long-standing paid agent of the NDC sanctioned to do the hatchet man job for them. This isn’t the first time Ken Agyapong has churned out lies about respected party members and executives. Late Jake Obetsebi Lamptey, Sir John, my trusted friend Kwabena Agyepong, Paul Afoko, Alan Kyerematen, President Kufour on whose records we are campaigning on, have all suffered the imaginary baseless allegations and wicked concoctions of untruths from that known braggart, Ken Agyapong. Our party members must begin to ask themselves why is it that, Ken Agyapong resorts to make repugnant, horribly distasteful and sometimes poisonous bigotry slight which undoubtedly affects the NPP’s fortunes negatively, only when it is getting closer to elections?

He did the same thing in 2008 when he insulted Fantes in Cape coast on a rally platform, Ken Agyapong repeated same in 2012 when he called for the lynching and killing of All GAs and Ewes. Prior to the Tamale conference in 2014, he insulted our late chairman Jake obetsebi who happened to be my successor as a thief. He went ahead to call all NPP members including Akufo-Addo as “Stupid Idiots”.

For how long will Ken Agyapong get away with his unpleasant, contemptuous and unprovoked outburst? Where is the party’s disciplinary committee? Why are they quite over the unjustified and unprovoked outburst and disparaging remarks of Ken Agyapong on our flagbearer Nana Akufo-Addo?”
In the light of this development, sections of the party are asking why Akufo-Addo sacked his party’s National Chairman and General Secretary over baseless allegations and cheap lies from Agyapong and others.

Now that, Ken Agyapong is claiming that fiercest loyalists of Akufo-Addo who are closer to him are those who hate Akufo-Addo and working against Akufo-Addo but not Chairman Afoko and Agyepong, some party members explained that they were are convinced Akufo-Addo sacked their party’s National Chairman Afoko and Kwabena out of hatred and intolerance. They are demanding an unqualified apology from Nana Akufo-Addo for his unpleasant hatred and bitterness against Chairman Afoko, Kwabena Agyepong & Co from the party.
