K’dua sex tape scandal: Chief orders arrest of suspect

The Ankobeahene of Kofridua Effiduase, Barima Gyasi Ankoanna has filed a complaint at the police station demanding the immediate arrest of a 22-year-old man involved in a sex scandal at Koforidua and its environs in the Eastern region.

Daniel Ofosu, aka Junior, aka Ahotoba is said to have filmed sex encounters with some women within Koforidua and its environs and allegedly circulating it via Bluetooth, Whatsapp and other social media platforms at a GHȼ5 fee.

His mode of operation was to use his Toyota Camry, ride on the back of his father’s private flourishing business and lure unsuspecting women, including married ones, into his residence and subject them to different bouts of sexual encounters whilst filming the whole act on a digital camera.

In all, 42 women were found in the videos with five of the video going viral on social media networks.

Even though, police in Asokore, a suburb of Koforidua are making frantic efforts to arrest the suspect, the chief is calling for prompt action.

According to Adom News’ Maxwell Kudekor, one of the victims is the niece of the Effiduase Ankobeahene.

The chief contends that, the decision by the suspect to leak the video amounts to gross violation of the victim’s right to privacy and also undermined her dignity.

Nana said they have submitted a copy of the video which captured his niece to the police as exhibit awaiting a positive result.
