John Dumelo To Pay Courtesy Call On Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II

Ghana’s celebrated actor, entrepreneur, and humanitarian, John Dumelo, on Monday, 11th July, 2016, will be paying a courtesy call on Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at his palace, Manhyia, as part of John’s peace tour in the Ashanti region.

The multiple award-winning actor who doubles as Ghana’s Ambassador for tourism – apart from paying the courtesy call on Otumfuo, will be interacting with youth groups and some major campuses in the regional capital to preach the gospel of peace and tolerance for the coming November polls.

Though the actor is a great member of the ruling party, NDC, and has also endorsed candidate John Dramani Mahama – the Presidential candidate for the NDC, in a chat with Ghanapoliticsonline.com,reporter Nii Okai said he feels there’s a need for him to advocate for peace as well as also preach the good words of President Mahama.

Again, he mentioned that he will visit the family of the Asawase disaster victim and offer his condolence. Schools that are likely to host his presence include: Kwadaso NTC, Yaa Asantewaa Girls, Prempeh College, Kumasi Anglican, Opoku Ware, Asanteman SHS, Wesley College of Education and Kumasi Polytechnic.
