John Dumelo gave out government car to his girlfriend

Ghanaian actor, John Dumelo has allegedly been caught with two state vehicles. The award-winning actor reportedly gave one of the cars to his girlfriend.

According to reports by Daily Guide, one of the vehicles is a Toyota Land Cruiser V8.

The 33-year-old sent one of the cars, black V8 Toyota Land Cruiser with registration number GE 8118-16 to a workshop in Abelempke, Accra for total rebranding when National Security Operatives pounced on it.

The vehicle is said to be one of the 200 vehicles the presidency says are missing.

According to the reports, John initially revealed that he bought the V8 from a car dealer, Suanvi Company Limited and claimed he is yet to complete payment.

Unfortunately, after the state officials cross-checked the chassis number (VIN number), the car was state-owned.

The report added that Dumelo confessed that the car was given to him by the former First Lady, Lordina Mahama.

The actor reportedly handed over the car and pleaded for some time to return the other car with his girlfriend.

The 33-year-old was actively involved in the 2016 General Elections campaigning for the National Democratic Congress under the flagbearership of John Mahama.
