Jaywon declares: Fighting won’t take us anywhere

Afro pop star, Jaywon, is no doubt a talented artiste who is known for his Afrocentric delivery and melodious tone.

The “Odun Yii” sensation revealed in a chat with Showtime that he never thought the song would become a worldwide hit. “I never thought “Odun Yii” would be a big hit. While I was recording the song, I wanted to do something different from the norm. God favoured me by giving me a hit song.”

Speaking further, Jaywon frowned at the rate at which artistes are throwing tantrums at each other, noting that the ugly development wouldn’t take the industry anywhere. “Beef won’t take us anywhere. What we need is love and unity,” he declares.

Recall that since this new year, the industry has recorded a lot of ugly incidents than ever. From Wizkid to Dammy Krane, Davido to his lover, Sophie, Cynthia Morgan to Davido, the beef continues to pour like a surge of rain.
