Infrastructure not automatic life-enhancement- Nana Konadu

The Former First Lady and flagbearer of the National Democratic Party, (NDP) Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings says when a government provides infrastructure for its people, it does not automatically better their lives.

She said government failed to implement policies that could have given Ghanaians jobs, income and proper health care they deserve.

Mrs. Rawlings made these comments when she met the Chief and people of Kekam in the Elembele District of the Western Region on her campaign tour.

The people of Kekam in the Elembele District amidst cheering and chanting of the NDP’s slogan, ‘Be Bold’ welcomed party’s campaign team.

The flagbearer of the party Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings entreated the people not allow politicians to buy their votes with money but rather they should asses their living standard and vote out the NDC government which has plunged the country into hardship.

The Chief of Kekam Nana Etease Disikan congratulated Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings for being the first woman presidential candidate and wished her well in all her endeavors’.

The Former First Lady paid a courtesy call on the Omanhene of Esikado Traditional Area, Nana Kobina Nketia at his palace.

He also applauded the NDP Flagbearer for being a role model for many Ghanaians especially women through her 31st December Women’s Movement days.

He prayed for a peaceful election.

Mrs. Agyeman Rawlings continued to Shama, in the Shama Ahanta West District in the Western Region.
