Ibrahim Mahama does not owe us – Ghana Airport Company Ltd

The Ghana Airports Company Limited has dismissed reports suggesting that CEO of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama owes the company some over GHC8 million in aviation fuel costs and taxes.

A statement dated May 5, 2017, and signed by a Deputy Managing Director of the Ghana Airport Company Ltd, Dr. J. Okwesie Arthur, indicated that the Engineers and Planners Company Limited “is not indebted to Ghana Airports Company Limited as at 5th May, 2017”.

Reports circulating in on social media over the weekend suggested that Ibrahim Mahama owed the aforementioned company GHC8 million in aviation fuel costs and taxes. The reports sparked trolling from some section of the public.

Ibrahim Mahama has been in the news in recent times for having owed a number of State institutions including SSNIT and the Ghana Revenue Authority.
The business mogul seems to have cleared his debts few weeks after the stories emerged.
