I Nearly Had Heart Attack Because Of Sam George – E.T Mensah

Member of Parliament for Ningo/Prampram Enoch Teye Mensah says he could easily have had cardiac arrest or high blood pressure due the treachery and malice by his one -time protégé Sam George.

According to him, Sam George who he took as his son stunned him after he showed such grave ungratefulness and peddled all sorts of falsehood about him just to further his (Sam George’s) political ambition, adding that he could have suffered a health condition had it not been God on his side.

The warm relationship that existed between the two became frosty in the run-up to the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) recently held Parliamentary primaries, during which a war of words ensued between them where they called themselves names.

Sam George eventually won the election bringing the shrewd and veteran politician E.T Mensah’s Parliamentary carrier to an end effective December 2016.

The newly elected National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate after his triumph has called on the defeated MP for the area, Enoch Teye Mensah, to forgive him and help him win the parliamentary seat.

He said he is ready to work with ET Mensah despite the fierce campaign that characterized his election.

“I believe we all have one cause we are fighting for which is to win power in 2016 and so I urge my father (ET Mensah) to accept defeat and forgive me so that we can achieve our goal,” he said.
However speaking on Okay Tuesday, E.T Mensah who had earlier stated that he would only forgive Sam Gorge and help him win the Ningo/Prampram seat in 2016 only when he apologizes to him through the media for denigrating and maligning him, stated that he was not ready to have anything to do with Sam George.

“That boy should not call me father, he is not my son. The sort of things he did to me,. …none of my children will do that to me. He should get off my back.”

“I have all the tapes which captures all his baseless allegations against me. I will sue him, he’ll prove that indeed I hired and paid land guards two million cedis to cause mayhem in Ningo/Prampram as he has put out there. If I have that kind of money and I don’t know how to use it, I’ll better give it to charity than to spend it this way.”
