Hassan Ayariga’s exit blessing in disguise – PNC

The People’s National Convention (PNC) has welcome the decision by its 2012 flagbearer Hassan Ayariga to quit the party.

Ayariga announced his decision to leave the Nkrumahist party after he lost the bid to lead the party again for the 2016 elections.

He lost to four-time presidential candidate of the party Dr. Edward Mahama in a competitive polls held on Saturday .

He claims the party does not deserve him.

Commenting on the development, the newly elected general secretary of the PNC Atik Mohammed told Starr News the exit of their former standard bearer is a good omen.

“The party wishes him well. If he thinks we don’t deserve him, then we can only wish him well because we can’t force him to stay.

“…Politics is a game of numbers but there are some people when they leave your party, it should be counted as blessings in disguise,” he stated.
